I thought I would write this letter to let everyone know how I feel about my teeth implants. I first went to see Dr. Smolyansky a little over three years ago to have a tooth extracted. I had thought of having a removable or fixed bridge put in since I now did not have any teeth on the right lower jaw but was not comfortable about taking something in and out of my mouth. That is when Dr. Smolyansky talked about implants to me. He also explained the procedure very thoroughly to me about what he would be doing. At the time I had no pain throughout the process and healed rather fast. It has been over 2 years and I have had asked Dr. Smolyansky if could have implants put in on the lefty lower jaw. A few years back I had been told by another dentist that I would not be a good candidate for implants in the left lower jaw because of a nerve that was lying very close to the surface. Dr. Smolyansky told me about a new procedure that he could do that would bypass the nerve and that would allow me to have implants put in the lower left jaw without adversely affecting the nerve. Another date was set to again put the hardware in. On February 6, 2008 I had the teeth put on top of the implants. The teeth look great and feel great. When I tell people that I have teeth implants they can hardly believe it as they say they look like my own teeth. I don’t know how to express how I feel about what Dr. Smolyansky has done for me, only that it has improved my quality of life. Warmest Regards, Barbara Middleton
